I am sorry benson, but you were getting too easy a run. Some one had to dob you in.

Rolly, the Handicapper suggests that rather than making your handicap easier you should just scull faster.

As of mid afternoon on Tuesday, the only thing the handicapper (s) can get his (thier) teeth into is Binglis' comments on Benson in Round 2 results. Anticipating a faster stream this week, he (they) will seek to bring the field together without being sucked into the trap set by "Rolly".

I have recieved a response from the handicaper, with some advice

Well now,

First you need to find out who the handicapper is (or handicappers are as the case may be). "JOD" seems to have uncovered a clue. "Rolly" may know.
Second, you need to understand that PHRC has a histroy of preparation of dark horses, so the handicappers are as it were "once bitten".
Third, it helps to go just slightly faster each week - "Rolly" should take note.
Fourth, it helps if others are playing ducks and drakes and taking the handicappers attention elsewhere. Note the "Fine Cotton" affair which occurred in Race 7 last week.
Finally, the rate is a charitable donation of 75ml of seriously good red wine per second, up to a limit of 10 seconds per handicapper per week. Preferably Coonawarra and above $5 per 75ml.  Of course you'll never know if it worked.

Bets regards and see you saturday.

apparently he loves to see old men wince in pain, so you may have no luck. I recomend you resort to more material means of gaining his favour. just rember all bribes have to be in before teh draw comes out.

I rowed flat chat to keep this guy off my stern, but to no avail, he passed my at Swan St.  Had a chat after and he could see how I had suffered.  Guess what he was the HANDICAPPER.  I'm good for next Saturday. JOD
