Hi All, Further to Drew's email on Sunday, I have been given the task of organising training sessions for all those not training for the World Masters Games. For the next 6 weeks (up to WMG) we won't have much opportunity to get in boats so pretty much all of what we do will be be land training focussing on endurance & strength. The intended plan for each week is as follows: Mondays: Weights Tuesdays: 5-10km (depending on your fitness) run or 40+ mins on erg Wednesdays: Weights Thursdays: 5km Run or 20min erg & Core strengthening exercises (sit-ups, crunches, back-arch etc). Fridays: Nothing Saturdays: Circuit Training Sundays: On the water if we can get numbers and boats, otherwise long run or bike ride The first few weeks will be fairly low intensity (eg 10km run or 40+ mins on erg not necessarily focussing on time but just getting through the sessions) with intensity building towards the end of October where we will look to get those interested regular on water sessions. I will be at the club this Saturday from 9am with first Circuit Training session starting at 9:30 and will be at the club weekdays (work permitting) from 6pm.
