Dear Members,

Please be advised of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of Power House Rowing Club, Inc., to be held on Sunday, 23rd August 2009 at 1pm, in the PHRC hall. The bar will be open following the AGM for those wishing to share a few drinks with their fellow club members.

Please read the important information contained in the attached documents (also available on the on the club notice board in the hall). These include an agenda for the meeting; a nomination form for Office Bearers and General Committee Representatives; and a document outlining key position descriptions.
Nominations for the committee are to be received by the Secretary no later than Sunday 16th August 2009, in accordance with the Club's constitution. Further details are contained within the Agenda. Nomination forms will be available on the club notice board from 24th July, 2009.  Please note that should any nominee be voted onto the Committee, they will be required to attend Committee meetings throughout the 2009/10 season. Please consider this when accepting any nominations.
In reinforcement to the announcement made at our recent Presentation Dinner, all Committee positions are up for election. This includes all 4 Executive roles – President, Captain, Secretary and Treasurer. This means we are looking for Club members to put their hand up and contribute to the running of our Club.

Apologies are to be directed to the Secretary. Any queries regarding the AGM may be directed to any member of the current Committee.

On behalf of the Committee, we look forward to seeing you there.

Kind regards,

Kate Andrews
Secretary
