A Belgian-Style Mussel & Chips Feast 

There are few things in life more satisfying than the simple pleasure of a steaming bowl of fresh mussels, a crisp serve of golden chips, and the relaxed company of friends. On Wednesday, 15th April, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, we invite you to join us for a special dinner celebration inspired by the great brasseries of Belgium. For just $30, you’ll enjoy a generous serving of classic moules-frites.

The delicious mussels are provided by one of our newest members- Oliver of Sea Bounty, based in Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula. Renowned for producing some of Australia’s finest mussels, Sea Bounty has built its reputation around clean waters, sustainable farming, and a focus on quality.

The mussels will be prepared by lightly cooking them to preserve their natural flavour, with aromatics, herbs, and broth that complement rather than overwhelm. Paired with hot, crisp chips. We’re excited to bring our members together at the club for an evening of good food, relaxed conversation, and shared enjoyment.

The location is at Power House Rowing Club. It’s the perfect backdrop for a casual Wednesday evening feast. Your $30 ticket includes a generous portion of mussels, a bowl of chips, and access to a relaxed communal lunch atmosphere. Drinks will be available at bar prices. Bring your appetite, your friends, and your love of great produce.
