The Power House Rowing School provides a Learn to Row program run by qualified Rowing Australia accredited coaches to enable you to start your rowing career in a safe, structured and welcoming environment.
Program Overview
Each session commences in the sheds on our indoor rowing machines and rowing tank which enables individual tuition on basic rowing technique in a safe environment before moving onto the water. You’ll have the opportunity to row from your first visit to the club and we aim to put beginners on the water at every class.
Our program is run over 4 weeks with 2 sessions per week. The sessions are focused on learning rowing terminology, safety, the basic rowing stroke and how to use the indoor rowing machine.
Programs are conducted subject to demand and a standard fee is payable prior to commencement. The fee covers all coaching and equipment costs. Fees are currently $300 for the full 4 week program.
