There are few things more powerful than sharing a meal, and our recent club dinner was a perfect reminder of that. Hosted by Uni and her brother, the evening was a chance to get together and enjoy a feast that celebrated both flavour and culture.
There was plenty of tasty food on offer: sizzling Korean BBQ, fragrant bowls of rice, tender bulgoggi, and the unmistakable tang of kimchi. Every dish carried with it a sense of heritage, giving us a glimpse into the food that Uni and her family grew up with. It was a gift to share in that culture, and a delicious one at that.
Beyond the food, the night was about connection. With plates piled high and conversations flowing easily, teammates had the chance to relax, laugh, and simply enjoy each other’s company. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a reflection of the spirit that makes our club so special.
It wasn’t just dinner—it was a celebration of community, culture, and friendship. A reminder that sometimes the best way to strengthen bonds is around the table, with good food and great people.
