Congratulations to our own Emily Harridge for her outstanding results in the Australian Indoor Rowing Championships. In her age group, Em won the 500m, 1 km and 2km national titles. She also won the one-minute challenge with longest distance covered. Congratulations Em from all of us at the House. A superb performance.
Em has now set her sights on the upcoming World Indoor Rowing Championships in February 2026, where she plans to compete virtually in the one minute and 1000m events. In addition, she aims to participate in the 500m and 2000m events later in the year. We wish her the very best as she continues her indoor rowing achievements.
Get Involved: Indoor Rowing Opportunities
If you’ve been inspired by Emily’s achievements, consider participating in the Indoor Rowing Championship yourself. World Rowing is planning to host an in-person World Indoor Rowing Championships (WIRC), featuring the traditional 2000m and 5000m distances.
